Doug has a driving passions to help people achieve their financial dreams and secure their financial futures.

He is a native of Nashville, having graduated from East Nashville Senior High School and Belmont University. After his time at Belmont University, he continued his education in the insurance field by obtaining the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and he has completed the requirements to become a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC).

Doug has more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Doug has worked for and worked with,most of the major companies in the insurance industry. He began his insurance career with Metropolitan Life, recruiting and training more than 50 life insurance agents. He went on to establish a multi-line insurance agency which grew to employ 25 people.
